Hastings Vs Ramsgate (away)
This game was game that hastings were looking for revenge, As Ramsgate had beaten them 2-1 in the reverse fixture earlier in the season. That day they lost to a dubious penalty.

This game was no different, The win for Hastings was just not ment to be. For Hastings the ball just would not hit the back of the net as McNaughton, Spice and Olorunda hit the woodwork.

Then the first goal fell in the 15th minute for Ramsgate, They played the ball out to the right wing, it was the floated in across on to the boot of the unmarked attacker, who planted the free shot to the right of Newsteads goal, 1-0 Ramsgate.

The game was settled down for a few moments until a free-kick worked between Watson and McNaughton, was crashed against Ramsgate bar from McNaughton. But in the 32nd minute a penalty was awarded to Hastings, for a ramsgate defender taking Mark Galls legs from under him. Rhys Hodges stepped up with a little pressure following his last penalty miss. Hodges stepped up and cooly slotted it to the left of the Goalkeeper.
1-1.

Ramsgate then took the lead again. Newstead took a free-kick on the left handside of of the pitch and unlike him kicked it to one of their players, who chased pass 2 Hastings players and placed the ball past the oncoming Newstead.
2-1 Ramsgate.

The next goal came in the 74th minute, and this goal showed one reason why we play the beautiful game of football. The ball was woked well from Hastings defence, up to Spice who combined well with Matthews, who eventually floated a well timed cross on to the Man on form Ransic, who celebrated his 17th Birthday!
2-2.

After this goal Hastings was pressing for another goal wich did eventually fall to Watson, but the referee dissalowed for pusshing which everyone believed robbed Hastings from the 3 precious points, Kym Monroe was voted Man Of The Match for his first half performane, but every player worked hard for the team.

Final Score:  Hastings 2 - 2 Ramsgate
