Hastings Played at home on Monday 6th May against Chatham
Hastings played well and won the game 6 goals to 2. Scorers for Hastings were:
Spice (2)
Styles (2)
Olorunda
McNaughton
After the game the dressing room was loud but not as much as usually, this was because the boys knew that this could be their last game for the club.
Mark Gall said a few words of appreciation for Cory Hyde and Ryan Light for all their hard work over the season, and all the players agreed.
Deep down inside the players were very dissapointed to think they could not be playing together next season. I think that all the players hope that their will be a team next year because they have a very good chance to compete for the title hopefully the Board of directors will see sence and change their mind for the new season ahead.
I would like to thank all the players for a great season and I hope that they feel the same, and we all hope that there will be more to come!!
Hastings Under 18's have been told this week that their could not be a team next season!
The Hastings players are still trying to plug away this season to push up the table to prove that they are worth keeping. The reason for their not being a team is £!! money, too much money is spent on the under 18's. Another reason is most of the Under 18's play in the reserves on a saturday. So are the under 18's not going to be a team next year because of their own success??
The whole Hastings team feels that they have a very good chance of winning the leauge next season! Sholud they keep the Under 18's? Make your view on the poll's link!
